Just got back into carts and Im in the process of doing a frame up restoration of a 1993 EZGO Marathon 4 stroke gasser. I have the suspension done and I just started working on the engine when I pulled the plugs I found a very dirty plug with lots of carbon on it. I suspect its a ring issue (fingers crossed) I found a manual 27615-g01 on this site but it will not print looking for another copy. Well anyway looking forward to learning more about cart repair.

sounds like it has a bad valve oil seal. not to bad of a fix. check compression on both cylinders, should be 140-150psi range. Attached the engine manual.
