Newbie in Texas

Hi, looking forward to reading more great info here. I live in TX, east of Austin in Bastrop Co.
I bought a 2004 Yamaha G22 a couple of years ago that wasn't in real good shape. I couldn't afford to replace all of the batteries, so I refurbished them. Replaced a couple of parts, solenoid, etc. Got it painted and recovered the seats. I should say I painted and recovered the seats. I ordered the seat covers online and spray paint came from local hardware, lol I have new wheelcovers on now that aren't in the pic

Howdy Jolana from Texas! Bastrop County, huh? I reckon that's some beautiful country out there. Reminds me of the time I took a road trip through the Lone Star State, drivin' through them wide open spaces and takin' in the sights. It was one of those perfect road trip days, the kind where the sky stretches out forever and the radio's playin' all the right songs.

Well, ain't that Yamaha G22 project of yours a real labor of love! Tacklin' them batteries and sprucin' up the look, you've been workin' wonders. Brings to mind my own DIY projects fiddlin' with radios and cobblin together somethin from odds and ends.

Let me tell ya Jolana, this forum's got a real sense of community here. Its like havin' a bunch of good people who always got your back, whether its talkin' golf carts or Texas road trips.
