First Time Cart Owner

Greetings to all on this board. I just bought my first golf cart a couple of weeks ago. It's a '05 Club Car. Wired in a voltage reducer and headlights today. Have no real knowledge of carts but hope to learn. Thanks in advance to everyone who may answer my questions.

can someone please tell me how you can check if a motor on a e-zgo golf is working or not i got one from a man who said it ran but needed a little work,i cannot get it to work,so i wonder if motor works;
