I just joined this forum to find info and meet other EZ-GO gas cart owners. I have a 2001.5 Workhorse 1200 that I bought used. Well used It came off a golf driving range and I would say it was abused. My place is 20 acres with about 3/4 of it brushy so the ball cage on it is very helpful. The engine has fits of not wanting to run, lots of blowby and oil leaks.

I am trying to decide between rebuilding it or getting a rebuilt. I have a lot of experience with automotive engines and have a machine shop close by that has experience with these engines but I would have to obtain all the parts.

Against that I know nothing about the places offering rebuilt engines.

I would appreciate comments from anyone that has gone through this.
