g1 sound like rod going

My cart starts good, runs well, but on deceleration it sounds like a rod going. I have been adding oil to the gas for the last 4-5 fill ups. Have not noticed any change. Is there anything else that could sound like a rod ( front wheel bearing, ..... etc)

Use it till it breaks. You should not have to add 2 cycle oil to the gas, just put it in the auto oil mix container.

Many G1s now have faulty oil mixer mechanisms. It is fine to add the 2T oil directly to the gas.

We had a noise that sounded like a hammer rolling around in the engine.

It was diagnosed as a bad crank bearing and repaired with used parts.All agreed it was better to fix before breaking sas it did not require a new engine. Cost was about $300.
