G 16 no spark when hot

I am having problems with my gas G16. It runs fine when 1st started. Once it gets hot the engine dies. If I check for spark a get a little one sometimes but no spark most of the time. I have checked the plug the wire and plug cap. Since it sometimes works fine and other times it stops I am not sure where else to check.

Bad coil most likely. Replace coil.

Running until hot is a sign of TCI/ignitor that is on the verge of breaking, or coil as kogieblack said. Swapping that out for a new one should fix the problem.
