g1 oil injection

just picked up a g1 to play with. it will be a pit vehicle after some repairs and paint. started right up but noticed that it appears there is no way to get oil from inj. pump to carb. shut it off right away. there is a nipple with oil at the pump and a nipple at the carb. near cyl.head with no hose attached at either. is this the oil supply needing only a hose between the two? a hose diagram would help if possible to check all the hoses just to be sure.i am unsure of the year but was told it is an early g1.

Hello dragracer..Maybe the oil pump broke, and the previous owner was premixing the oil? After all, if the pump breaks during use there is no warning before you cause serious engine damage.
