Yamaha G16A brake light switch

I recently got a 1997 G16A cart. It has a light kit but no brake lights (or blinkers). I've seen what the brake light switch looks like and the mounting holes on the switch. What I can't figure out is where the switch is to be mounted. In one of the listings there is a schematic showing the switch in a plunger down position but not exactly where/how it is to be mounted. any help???

I have come to realize the switch I've been looking at as a brake light switch is actually the accelerator pedal stop switch. I've purchased a generic spring type motorcycle brake switch which will work just fine. Thans
