Dead electrical

Hello I have a 1985 G1 Gas cart and I am having some sort of electrical problem. I had driven it without issue on a saturday parked it and came back 1 week later and just dead. no lights nothing. pulled the battery and charged it. check the fuses and still nothing. I am going to replace the battery, change the fuses and I am asking if there is anything else to check. thanks for any help suggestions anyone can offer.

Should be a simple problem, check that everything is making a connection (battery terminals, wires, solenoids, fuses, key switch, pedal switch) also there is a small red wire that comes off the positive terminal, check that it is not broken and making a connection in the harness.
