Yamaha G15 multi person vehicle

Hello Here a question from Holland

I bought a G15-A Golfcar its a 4person model , he wont start and i find a connector with 3 wires and one of them is melted away the black wire

I think its the cable that goes to the engine ignition pickup i'm not sure because i can't see where the cabe is going to and i cant find a wiring diagram for this type.

The question is can sombody help me with a wiring diagram or a comlete manual so i can try to find and fix the problem

Welcome Willem, Probably a short in the wires somewhere, I will let you know on the owners manual these Japan built models are very rare.

the number was wrong

It has to be JN5-002317 as you see there was one zero to many

The only three wire bundle on a G-15 is the wiring going to the coil. RED,ORANGE,BLACK. A missing ground on the lower black wire on the starter is prone to failure. It is a 16AWG wire with mating butt connectors )which come loose). Note: Yamaha fuses the ground side. Check both fuses and the small black wire on the starter. It should read 0 ohms to the frame.

G 15-A to my knowledge has a Yamaha G16 engine. Pls. proceed from this info.
