Once you loosen the two large 12mm flange bolts that secure the starter/generator to its mount bracket you can loosen the lower tensioner lock nut and adjuster bolt lock nut. Then turn the adjuster bolt out to decrease the tension. See attached guide for further reference. If you have any questions feel free to ask!
