G14A Oil coming upinto the vacuum tube?

Really perplexed. There is oil coming up from the tube that goes into the air filter and it clogged the filter. When I cleaned it, it runs fine.
Anybody know what's up?

Could be RPMs. Did a little work on my G9 and had the same problem. I put a filter on the crankcase hose and a screw in the air cleaner box. Fixed!

A couple of things can cause oil coming out of the breather tube. Most common is excessive oil in the crankcase, the other is blow by cause by worn rings or valves. If the oil level is ok do a compression test. Compression should be over 110 psi.If compression is lower squirt a little oil into the spark plug hole and check compression again. If if comes up, at least a ring job is in order.
