vent tube

I bought a new carb for my Yamaha (1991). the new one has a tube attached to the bottom of the float bowl. Where do I attach this? If I leave this hanging it just leaks gas.

sounds like it has a screw to drain the bowl with hose attached to bottom of bowl. is thre cart a g5, 8 or 9?
