Yamaha 4stroke gas cart

I have a Yamaha 4stroke golf cart . I have just put a new starter/generator on it. Checked battery shows 864 cold cranking amps, cleaned terminals. Checked for spark at plug has that. Cart barely pulls itself, if any could help out would be greatly appreciate it .

Need a little more info. Like how long has it sat with gas in it? Does it need the choke most of the time to run? More than likely the carburetor will have to come off and be cleaned, plus fuel pump, fuel filter and fresh gas in the tank.
