Newbie needs pro advice

I'm about to pull the trigger on a new Yamaha EFT gas cart. This cart will be for neighborhood use rather than golf. I intend to have a rear seat installed, etc.

It seems quieter than the carb models. I know they are pretty new. Are there any opinions?

Noise levels are typically lower with EFI engines. The precise fuel delivery reduces engine noise which is a pleasant feature for neighborhood use. EFI engines typically start more easily even in cold weather, and they adjust automatically to changes in altitude and temperature. Yamaha was one of the first companies in the golf cart industry to adopt electronic fuel injection which brought improvements in performance, efficiency, and ease of maintenance making it a decent choice for various uses.
