On the diagram it shows position/color chart with 2 positions marked W/G I think one of these should be W/R for white wire with red stripe . Please let me know what you think?

In the wiring diagram there are color codes "R/W" and "W/R" indicating wires with different primary and stripe colors. "R/W" stands for a wire that is primarily Red with a White stripe, meaning the wire's main color is Red, accented by a thin White stripe running along its length. Conversely, "W/R" represents a wire that is primarily White with a Red stripe, where the main color is White and it features a thin Red stripe. The key distinction lies in the primary color and the color of the stripe allowing for proper differentiation and correct wiring connections.
The presence of two positions marked "W/G" (White with Green stripe) on the diagram when you suspect one should be "W/R" (White with Red stripe) suggests a potential error or mislabeling in the diagram. If the diagram shows two "W/G" wires, but you believe one of these should actually be "W/R," it could indicate a mistake in the documentation. This is important because using the incorrect wire could lead to improper connections, potentially causing issues in the electrical system. If possible, cross reference with this attached version of the wiring diagram for your Yamaha G1. Sometimes discrepancies can be found by comparing different sources.Attached Files:
