G1 Shock

I own a 1981 G-1 and I keep having flat tires on the front driver's side axle. I noticed that when I hit a bump, the tire would hit the inner fender/body of the cart. Would this be a weak shock? If so, where can I buy a new one?

I wouldn't say shock because that dampens movements... I would say the spring. Did the spring crack? Was the cart modified? Do you have larger tires on the cart or a lift kit installed?

The cart is bone stock with the wheels and suspension being original. I will have to take a look at the spring and inspect it for cracks.

I thought the shocks on a G-1 were a spring assist shock, am I misunderstanding something?
