My cart runs fine once I get it going, then once it sits I get back on it push the pedal and it clicks. I tap on the starter then It goes. Is my starter going bad? Thanks

No, I think the battery is bad. It does not have enough charge to turn over the starter. I do not think your starter is going bad from your symptoms.

If you have lights, turn them on, and then try to start the cart. If the lights dim dramatically, then your battery is bad (this is a down and dirty battery load test). If the lights don't dim, just the solenoid just clicks, then it is probably the solenoid / starter. You can also try tapping the starter to see if it catches. Every battery looses it's charge by some degree as it sits. Unhealthy batteries loose it VERY quickly.
