im working on a g16 rear end, when i put it in forward it goes forward, in neutral it goes forward, and in reverse it goes forward, what might have the other person done before it was sent to me? any ideas would be appreciated

Is the rear axle in the cart?
Are the shifting cables and rocker arm working OK?

Shifter cable is out of adjustment. Lift up the seat, have a look and adjust until it works properly, it may be time consuming but do it right the first time and tighten it down all the way and you will never have to do it again.

Yes, g2/g9/g14 is the same, g16 is modified.

There is a bolt on the rear that is named the fill level bolt. You fill the oil up through that hole until the excess pours out of that hole.
