G1 electrical problems

17 Year old son mister know it all thaught he could fix the cart. he accedently grounded out the generator when he didn't disconnect the battery, he fried a wire fix it and the cart cranked over he then hooked up the coil and know nothing. anybody with any info please help. maybe a wiring diagram or info, my wife uses the cart to drive my two girls to school.

No power to coil

I have a g1 gas golf cart I'm getting no power to my coil but I'm getting power to the ignition but not back to the coil. if anyone has any advice or a wiring diagram it would be very helpful

Thank you. How do I check the throttle switch, I have no power leaving the ignition swith to either the blue or black wire leading back to the coil. Thank you for your help
