Carburator has a extra hose port

I have two g1 carts and both will run if you mix and spray directly in carb. Cleaned caberator and the pump is pusing gas out the extra port. Is this the wrong carb. or is there some thing else wrong like the oil pump. It had a hose on it that was about 12 " long but was not pluged. What's up?

If the oil pump is bad will it stop the flow of gas into carb and engine?
