  • Pucks / Ramps

We just came across an old G2 gas cart. The fellow I bought it from stated that the secondary moving sheave needed to be replaced but the cart did run.

I purchased the fixed and second moving sheave and installed on the cart. The cart is very loud as it runs and
    shifts poorly.

I have read tonight that there is some type of plastic puck or ramps that need to be installed on the sheave. Since the
old part did not have any I had no idea to purchase them.

Am I on the right track here ??

You are talking about the driven clutch. Yes where the 2 halfs of the clutch come together there should be plastic ramps that they ride on. Pick away the dirt and grease and clean up in there and you should see them if they are not worn out so deep that it dug into where you bolt it in.
    Regards
