reverse speed

I have 5 Yamaha G16E carts that I use in a manufacturing facility. Safety Dept. requires that they be governed down to 6 Mph. I do this by installing a mechanical stop on the throttle. The problem I have is that in reverse there is a built in governer and when I reduce forward speed to 6 Mph they wont even move in reverse. Is there a way to bypass or remove the reverse governer?

you should have a 6 gage wire comming from f/r forward/reverse going to positive of middle battery = half speed. remove that wire and put it with your main positive and you will have the same speed forward and reverse. hope this will help you. pistol
