I have a G16E yamaha and it runs and then it will cut off and when it coll off it will start runing again. it stop and i jump it from A2 on motor to ground and it started on high.Is the controller bad.

Hey carroll. Usually when it cuts off the controller is going into thermal shutdown. This ends up happening more and more often until the controller completely dies. Can be fixed by replacing the controller.
