  • Rebuild failure

    Hi all,
I tried to rebuild a hitachi 48v motor off a 2007 G29, as it needed brushes, bearing, speed sensor etc. When i took the motor apart the speed sensor magnet fell apart as it was in bad shape.
Is the speed sensor installed with magnet up or down? Tried to find a decent view but couldn't. I installed it with magnet up but now when pedal pressed i hear selonoid click but no move.
Hoping it's something simple like speed sensor. Took voltage measurements and found 46 volts from A1 to A2.

Update....pulled motor again and found gasket for speed sensor was misaligned and covering most of the magnet. Fixed the issue except for the one of being in tii much of a hurry.
