  • front shock question

on my 1998 G19E it has the origional front shocks. The left shock needs replaced so I might as well replace them both. I priced them online and found that the shocks for the gas models are much cheaper than the shocks for the electric models. they look identical and the yamaha part numbers are just one letter off. is there a difference in them or anything. here is the link for the shocks. thanks.

Look up gas and electric weights and see what the difference is!

from what I can find the shocks both weigh the same (15lbs shipping weight). and for the carts the gas models weighed 653lbs and the electric models weighed 560lbs without the batteries.

well there's your difference batteries probably weigh close to 400 500 lbs so one shock has a heaver spring.
