  • Columbia gas, Hitachi starter generator

Gents: Need some help with wiring schematics for Hitachi GBS107-01F, (Harley Davidson 30083-69C) New unit. A1 and A2 on front, F2,DF, and F1 around sides. Unit is on older model Columbia gas cart.
F2 is marked, and runs from cellanoid to F2 on unit. It shows current when gas pedal is engaged, and clicking sounds coming from either voltage regulator or cellanoid, (hard to tell) F1 wire is also marked, but is disconnected at starter switch, which apparantly was not working properly.

Unit was running previously, although old starter generator was very sluggish, was diagnosed and replaced. I think I read that one of of you experts has a wiring schematic>?

F1 should be connected to A2. A1 should be connected to body ground or direct to battery negative side. DF (usually a green wire) connected to mthe DF of the voltage regulator. F2 of course should be connected to the other big pole of the solenoid. The other big pole is directly connected to the battery positive terminal.

You'd better ask the professional person to answer your question in case of damaging your cart.
