76 gas harley

I just got a 76 Harley Cart and am having trouble keeping it running. It will start with starting fluid but will not keep running. I am also looking for the throttle cable and gas tank. Appreciate any and all info on this! Thanks, Dan

Id start with a clean gas tank, fresh gas and a carburetor rebuild and clean. Sounds like a fuel issue to me.
