Harley backfiring problem

The cart backfires at all different speeds, the loudest when it slows down and then you press the accelerator before it shuts off. What is the problem?

make sure that your throttle is closing all the way when the GO peddal is not depressed.

same thing happened to me, also check that the airfilter box is sealed properly
