Star Cart

I have a 2 year old Star Cart my girls drive around the house and it suddenly quit working today. It will not go forward or backward, the headlights will not come on, but the battery level indicator on the cart shows full charge. When I plug in the charger, the charger will not begin charging until I turn on the lights. The reverse alarm will beep normally until I depress the accelerator pedal, then the cart bounces a bit and the alarms speeds up. Also I can hear the motor humming or winding a bit when the accelerator is depressed. Any suggestions?

I assume the setup is the same as any normal golf cart, do you hear a click when you press the gas? Try jumping the solenoid by running a jumper cable across the 2 large posts.
