New electric golf cart having issues while accelerating fast, the brake will randomly engage and I will have to shut off and restart cart. But if I slowly accelerate it does not do it. Anyone have any issues with this? It’s some brand from china. Think maybe golf carts is the brand.

Could need to tweak the controller parameters a little or a problem with the throttle input, how about posting some pics of the controller with any visible numbers ??

It’s certainly a tricky one and I can see how frustrating that would be! I’d like to dive a little deeper to get a clearer picture and help narrow this down. Do you happen to have a wiring diagram for the cart or know the specific model name? That would help immensely. I also have to agree with the earlier suggestion about parameters or throttle input. It could be that the system interprets rapid acceleration as an error or safety concern triggering the brake as a fail safe. Did the dealer provide any kind of warranty service you can use?
