I made the switch to 48 volts. Will this charger and female plug do the trick for me?

There are known issues with these chargers, see this thread. I would recommend a more reliable 48v DPI charger instead, its highly recommended around here and features a built in maintainer that automatically recharges your batteries every 28 days during the offseason. Just remember to keep an eye on the water levels.
