1993 Melex needs differential repair

Is it possible to fidn a new ring gear to fix the differential on my 1993 Melex gofl cart? WOuld this be expensive to fix? Thanks...

Hey danman12,

I know from dealing with other rear axles that those parts inside are hard to find, if the dealer doesn’t carry them most people recommend finding a part-out rear. EBay possibly.

Expensive? Maybe. Impossible? No. Don’t stop trying, ill take a look aswell and let you know what I find.

As an example... some people blow the motor on their melex and find it too expensive to fix rendering the golf cart useless. So in a attempt to get rid of the golf cart they decide to salvage the remaining working parts on the cart for quick cash. So you may find a person selling a used rear differential from their cart that is still in tact.
