HELP, 87 EzGo Marathon, Gas

Received an 87 marathon, gas powered golf cart. Had previously been sitting. Rode for awhile, it quit, been sitting 6 months. Put lawn mower battery in, started and ran sluggish. Could this be due to the battery size? Also, not sure if I need to mix oil and gas or not, how do I tell. And what kind of oil do I need to use. Thanks

Hello. These carts have an oil and gas auto mixer on them. But they break with out warning. So put in a ounce of 2 cycle oil per gallon of gas. Put a car battery in or it will run sluggish.
