i currently have a 1982 ez go marathon cart and i want to swap the engine out for a 1984 750 virago motor has anyone done a swap like this .

That's going to be one beast of a cart if you get that done . There are a few people here that have talked about some swaps but did not get into too much detail on the fabrication process. Try searching on top.
