starting?

Hi everybody Im new here. I have a 91 ezgo gas gc. Engine turns over fine. But wont start. I can spray starting fluid ant it starts. Fuel is getting to carb fine. Plugs arent wet or fouled. I drained and cleaned tank and fuel lines. Next step is the carb. Is there a safety switch or something Im overlooking before I go into the carb?

Hello. If the cart starts when you spray starter fluid in it, then you will need to clean up the carburetor. Remove everything on the carburetor, including the jets and clean it up with carb cleaner. Then soak it in a solvent overnight, and blow it out with compressed air the next day. Reassemble and go.
