Do you happen to still have the original part? Many times the old units can be carefully taken apart, cleaned, and brought back to life. It’s surprising how often that works! If you don’t, consider searching online using the original part numbers you mentioned, OEM ones do show up and prices can vary widely often $1,200 and under depending on the seller.

If shipping to Canada is tricky and you happen to find one in the US let me know I’d be happy to offer help. You could have it sent to me in Jersey and I can forward it to you for the cost of the shipping label. It’s just an idea that I've done with other members here but sometimes thinking outside the box helps.

It can be hard to find a replacement and prices for any remaining new ones are through the roof. There are a few EH29/35C engine rebuilders on eBay that might have used spare clutches on hand or hands on experience for a quality replacement. If you have an ebay account, it could be worth sending them a quick message to see if they can offer any suggestions
