  • Ezgo gas won't start, has a high pitched whine - won't engage

I have an mid 90s ezgo txt (I think) with a Suzuki motor. Before yesterday, if I hadn't used it in a few days, when I stepped on the gas, there would be a high pitched whine that would soon drop in pitch and the motor would engage. After a few times of that, it would go normally.
Yesterday, it changed and now when I step on the gas, it whines but the pitch remains constant. At first, it would sort of engage for a single fire and would seem to reset it and it would just whine again. Just installed a new battery (which was old and failing), but no change. Any ideas? Thanks.

Sounds like the belt is stretched/loose or glazedover and slipping - tighten or replace - use oem parts if possible

I think the belt is ok - I may not have described the issue very well - I just attached a video, so that may help better explain - thanks for your response
