  • Simple explanation please

I would like a simple explanation of how the micro switch operated by the gas pedal interplays with the spark and how the gas pedal interplays with the carburetor butterfly. So I would like something explained like this when depressing the gas pedal the starter and spark is employed but not the carburetor butterfly until the gas pedal is depressed x percent more. Something like that. I get a hard jerk when I first take off and I think (probably wrong) that the sequence of events is wrong, that I am getting gas too soon or my plugs are not firing and gas builds up in the cylinders and the Big Bang and jerk. I am sorry that I can’t explain and ask the right questions. Thanks to those who can clue me in.
