Old ezgo with Robins engine not sucking gas to engine

This is an old golf cart. No label. Just a crazy guess...70s. I drove it some about 10 months ago. So lately I cleaned carb and fuel lines and filters. I did not replace one from tank to engine but I blew air through it. It will run when I spray starter fluid in carb. Seems no fuel flowing through clear filter near gas tank. I don’t think fuel getting to carb. Thanks.

I have a 86 2 stroke Robin engine have you replaced fuel pump? And i know i have put fuel filter with arrow pointing wrong way before. Low compression will cause it because bottom of fuel pump its a hole and compression from bottom end pulls on the diaphram that pulls fuel to pump and then line from fuel pump to carberator you should be able to take it loose from carberator to see if fuel pump is working properly
