New here. I was given a 1974 ezgo electric Tha cart is in good shape, But the batteries where shot as well as the cables. After looking at the price of batterys . Sticker shock. I found a rebuilt 1987 marithon engin and rear end for much less. So with a little fab work and some scrap metal I had laying around, The cart runs great.
