750 v twin need ideas in chain drive

I have an old medalist not suretee of the year. I squeezed a honda shadow engine in it and have had a hard time finding a gear/jack shaft to finish her up and get the tires smoking. Any ideas or places to look.

four wheelers have a chain drive axle that ccould be adapted in. seen one on youtube that was done that way.

Thinking of using the motor as a housing for sprocket . Wondering if any one world know the shaft size our where to look for a sprocket to fit this app. Going to get a live axle as soonas cash allows.
