What gasoline is better?

I been told it is better to run "Premium" gasoline in my 2007 Robin 2 cyl. Any thoughts to this?

I know some small gas engines do run slightly better and eliminates sluggish detonation.

the preimium has more octaine and also has the cleaners in it. i use the mid grade myself. it's a blend of the reg & prem
