93 EZ-GO trouble starting

93 EZ-GO gas, started having trouble this winter starting when cold, when it warmed each day or after running it awhile no problem. The problem is when it is cold out it sounds like it is barely turning over, a real muffled sound. I replaced the battery no help. it seems to be getting worse. Any help I would be very thankful.

sounds like your about due for a starter/generator rebuild, brushes and bearings.
