  • carb to filter box hose

I need to put on a new carb to filter box hose. Is there anything I need to remove? Is it difficult?

Theres a crank breather tube on the EH29C and EH35C robin engines, swapping out that hose to filter box is doable, definitely ain't rocket science, trust me. First things first, pop open the air cleaner box and remove it, that means removing the air cleaner box completely. Now, underneath the box you'll find this sturdy tube, not too long, but mighty important. Thats the link between the crankcase and the air cleaner you're looking for, kinda like your engine's breathing tube. It's there for keeping your engine's insides clean and protected from all the nasty dirt in the air. Think of it like wearing a mask in a dusty environment, it keeps the bad stuff out and the good stuff in. Keeping those cylinder walls scratch free is key to avoiding any oil guzzling issues down the road. Once you get the air box off you'll have that hose swapped out in no time, and your engine will thank you for it!
