Fuel tank cleanout

Is there a way to get the fuel tank out of an early 90s EZ-GO with the Robins EH29C engine without removing the rear body? I have the tank loose but cannot get it out. I really don't want to remove the rear body just to remove the fuel tank to clean it out.

I could not see any easy way. I siphoned most of it out then used clean cloth and a piece of threaded rod to get the rest. You can get a cheep siphon at a auto parts store.
