  • Fuel + Spark = no start

I have a '97 EZGO that has new spark plugs that are working. I spray starting fluid in the carb and still will not fire. Is this possible a timing issue? Over the last couple of months it would start up hard and run poorly, and now not at all. Please give me some direction. Thanks much!

Does the motor have any compression?

It could be a number of things. How did it come up to this? Did it just die one day? Was it sitting for a long period of time and now you decided to start using the cart again? I need more information on what lead up to this moment!

Hey, I'm having the same problem. If I hold the pedddle down to start for 2 or 3 minutes, it will slowley start. And will recrank. But if I leave it off for 10 or 15 min., I have the same problem. It's like it floods sitting still.
