2016 Ezgo 48V RXT—Recently converted to Lithium. After using it a few times in the neighborhood, on one occasion, it would not go forward or reverse, but it began working a few minutes later. On other occasions, it continues to go forward at a moderate speed for a few seconds after I lift the foot, and breaking will not stop it. I replaced the accelerator switch and position sensor. I tested it and still had the same issues. When it would not move, I switched the run/tow switch, and it restarted. Any suggestions for next step?

What you're describing sounds like the controller might be getting hung up possibly due to a low voltage trigger or a miscommunication between the throttle input and the controller. The fact that switching the run/tow switch gets things moving again points to a reset behavior, which often happens when the controller faults or loses a signal, then reinitializes when toggled. The delayed stopping and continued movement after lifting your foot could also suggest that the controller is still receiving partial throttle input or isn’t properly detecting the return to zero signal from the throttle sensor. Even though you replaced the accelerator switch and position sensor, it's still possible there's an issue with voltage stability, wiring, or grounding, especially after a lithium conversion.
If you're up for it, a good next step is to run a few simple checks with a digital voltmeter. Start by verifying pack voltage both at rest and under load to confirm your lithium system is delivering consistent power to the controller. If you're up for the challenge, from there, we can trace throttle input voltage and power signals to the controller to rule out intermittent drops or irregularities. It doesn’t take much more than some time and patience and you can usually uncover a lot with just a meter and a clear set of readings. Happy to walk you through the process if you're up for diving in.
