  • 2006 txt pds stretch 36 to 48v conversion

    i have recently upgraded my 2006 ezgo txt pds cart to 48 volt lithium along with navitas 600amp controller ,heavy duty 48v solenoid ,new 2ga wires, and plum quick 'zombie motor' (as recomended by plum quick).i now have two issues i hope to get cleard up.one being the cart runs but at speed for lack of better words is 'bouncy' second is then need to constantly switching the key switch on and off during operation to keep the cart moving example stopping ant a stop sign pressing peddle and npt moving reset key and your off till you stop again.what am i missing?i hope there is enough imformation for someone that knows more than i

    It definitely looks like you've built a solid beautiful setup and you're close to having it dialed in. What you’re describing is likely a tuning or parameter issue within the Navitas controller itself especially with how the system is handling throttle input or motor feedback under load.

    I highly recommend starting by contacting Navitas support directly, similar to this thread here; they’re genuinely great people to work with and know their systems inside and out. They can walk you through checking specific settings in the app and help you tune the controller for your motor and lithium setup. If for any reason you don’t get what you need from them or want to compare notes afterward we are always happy to help troubleshoot further but definitely start with Navitas they'll get you right to the source faster than chasing it blind.
