I have purchased a 1999 Ezgo 36 volt golf cart without batteries. I want to install a 36 volt lithium battery. The battery connections are pretty easy to understand, with the exception of the two heavier black leads coming off the two side terminals on the electronic speed control solenoid. How are they connected to the battery?

You'll want to look into the inner workings of your EZGO to see what kind of motor setup you have, these systems can be bypassed to accommodate a lithium upgrade. I think the most common issues arise due to BMS lockout from over charging during regen braking or pulling too much amperage from mods, what type of battery did you decide?
